This gorgeous day in July wasn’t just about tying two families together. It was also about remembering those who couldn’t be there to celebrate with them. Katie and Taylor honored Katie’s late mother by decorating the arbor for the ceremony and the centerpieces for the reception with greenery that had been grown in her garden. This extremely touching detail set this wedding apart.
The joy of this day couldn’t be dimmed even though the rain pushed back ceremony nearly an hour. Katie and Taylor weren’t stressed about anything. They patiently waited for the sun to come out. And when it did the back lawn was sparkling with dew.
Everyone excitedly moved out to take their seats. The intimate ceremony was joined with the cattle on the property. The cows came right up to the fence and watched respectively.
Katie and Taylor danced up the aisle to Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. The rest of their bridal party joined them and had a dance party right off the back veranda.
The rest of the evening in the barn was filled with just as much joy. Katie and Taylor were lovely to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to be a part of something that was so special to them and their families.
