Stephanie and Craig pulled out all the stops for their glamorous winter wedding at Flying Horse Ranch. Their late December wedding was filled with warmth, something that is hard to come by for a winter wedding! Stephanie and her mom Helene thought of every detail when it came decorating the Ranch. Hues of gold dominated the color scheme, and the roaring fireplaces paired with the soft light of dozens of candles kept the ballroom and barn glowing all night long.
Even the sun participated in the festivities, bathing the newlyweds in soft golden light. Stephanie’s gown was something straight out of Hollywood’s golden age, with a simple elegance that perfectly captured her personality. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets full of deep reds and vibrant burgundy hues that were the perfect accent to the gilded theme. Craig and his groomsmen were sharp as a tack in their army dress uniforms.
The barn loft was the perfect location for some photos of the happy couple, and amidst the hustle and bustle of the day Stephanie and Craig were able to share a quiet moment embracing under the warmth of the twinkle lights strung across the barn loft. Our joyous couple were welcomed into their cocktail hour through a saber arch performed by their closest military comrades, a sentiment that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
As Stephanie entered the ballroom to see how her dinner decor had come together, she emanated a peaceful stillness and grace. Hundreds of candles adorned the tables along with fresh winter greenery that made the entire room smell like Christmas. The ballroom was the perfect combination of elegant and cozy, with the long king’s table and rounds decked out with the soft glow of candles to set the mood. The twinkle lights intertwined with the greenery on the tables added to the feeling of warmth on a chilly winter day.
After dinner the newlyweds had their path lit by sparklers as they entered the barn, where they proceeded to dance the night away.
